Course Title:
Lotus Domino 6 Administrator Update

Duration: 3 days

Course Overview
During this course you will learn how to plan for and upgrade an existing Domino installation to Domino 6. You will learn how to install the software and update the databases in the proper sequence to avoid problems and service disruptions.

Beyond the typical upgrade course "learning about" the new features in Notes and Domino 6 and Domino Administrator 6, in this course you will gain significant knowledge and experience in how to configure and use the new features using Domino Administrator 6.

Target Audience

This course is designed for experienced Notes and Domino R5 administrators who plan to upgrade their environment to Notes and Domino 6.

You will find the course especially rewarding if you have already installed a Domino 6 server and a handful of Notes 6 clients and bring your questions to class.

To learn more about:
upgrading applications to Domino 6 using Domino Designer 6, take the Domino 6 Developer Update course;
upgrading to Notes 6 (users), take the Notes 6 Update course.

If you are new to Notes and Domino 6, this is not the right course to take. You should, instead, participate in a series of Domino administration training courses.
