Course Title:
Lotus Notes R6 End User Training

Duration: 2 days

Course Overview
This course teaches you how to be immediately productive in Lotus Notes® 6.

During this course you send and reply to electronic mail using Notes. Once you have the basics of mail mastered, you will learn all the options available when you send mail. Because mail is a key business application, you will learn how to organize mail into folders and to archive important messages.

You will learn also how to use the Calendar and how to schedule a meeting and send invitations to other people.
In addition to learning about Notes Mail, you will learn the most commonly used features as you use the Address Book, create a personal Journal, and participate in a shared discussion on a Lotus Domino™ Server.

Target Audience

There are two audiences for this course.
New Notes users who can:
start and stop software applications in Microsoft® Windows™;
use Microsoft Windows Explorer to find and organize files; create, format, and print documents using a graphical word processing software package; use Microsoft Internet Explorer to browse Web pages and manage a list of "favourite" bookmarks.

For these individuals, only parts of the course may be presented in a 1/2 day or longer class.
Help desk employees who want an in-depth understanding of how Notes is used on a day-to-day basis. For these individuals, the entire course may be presented in a 2+ day class. In addition this class may include some or all topics from the Lotus Notes 6 Administration and Support course.
