Course Overview
This course is designed to update experienced ORACLE Database Administrators’ knowledge of the Oracle database by introducing the new features associated with ORACLE9i. The course offers detailed descriptions of the new features together with workshops to enhance the attendees understanding.

It is expected that attendees will be technically involved with database administration or developers, designers or system managers who will benefit from knowledge of the new features of ORACLE9i.

Course Objectives


On completion of this course the attendee will appreciate the new features in ORACLE9i enabling the Developer/DBA to know what is required when administering an ORACLE9i database.

Prerequisites


ORACLE8i DBA’s who need to know about the new capabilities of the ORACLE9i database. Attendees should have experience of ORACLE8i databases. DBA’s moving from an earlier database are advised to attend the ORACLE8i New Features course first.
