Oracle Application Server for Administrators

Duration: 2 days

Course Overview
This course looks at the Oracle Application Server (OAS) and discusses issues related to the installation and administration of OAS. Attendees will be exposed to the tools available and will look at security with regard to application support. This course will also provide a background to support developers who build applications for OAS.

Target Audience


The attendees will be technically involved with web application design and development or database administrators wanting to further their understanding of web applications. The attendees should have a good understanding of SQL and PL/SQL. Preferably they should have attended the Fundamentals of SQL and Fundamentals of PL/SQL courses. Some basic knowledge of HTML would also be an advantage.

Course Objectives


On completion of this course, attendees will:

Be able to create interactive Web Pages
Use information from an Oracle database in a PL/SQL Web application
Produce dynamic Web Pages through scripting via LiveHTML
