Oracle Application Server for Developers

Course Overview
This course will show the delegate how to build dynamic Web applications that use an Oracle database by using the PL/SQL Web Toolkit to generate HTML. Scripting features will also be used to include dynamic content.

Target Audience


The attendees will be technically involved with web application design and development or database administrators wanting to further their understanding of web applications. The attendee should have a good understanding of SQL and PL/SQL with some exposure of the Oracle Application Server. Preferably they should have attended the Fundamentals of SQL, Fundamentals of PL/SQL and Oracle Application Server for Administrators courses.

Some basic knowledge of HTML and the internet would also be an advantage.

Be able to create interactive Web Pages
Use information from an Oracle database in a PL/SQL Web application
Produce dynamic Web Pages through scripting via LiveHTML
