Course Title:
Preparation Course and Examination for the APMP Qualification

Duration: 5 days

Course Overview
The Association for Project Management’s APMP qualification is their baseline qualification. The examination comprises a one-hour multiple-choice paper followed by a three-hour essay style paper. The pass mark for both papers is 60%. Although the course provides a level of knowledge that will enhance the student’s performance as a project manager its primary purpose is to prepare them to pass the examination.

The course is of 4 days duration with the examination on the 5th day. This is an intensive course of instruction, and practice in answering exam type questions. Students can expect to have to carry out evening work.

Alternatively the course can be offered in two separate sessions comprising a 3 day session in week 1 followed in the next week by a 1 day session plus the exam.

Target Audience


All project managers wishing to attain the Association for Project Management’s APMP qualification.

Prerequisites


There are no educational pre-requisites but attendees should have should have at least 2 years experience of working in a projects environment and have been responsible for leading at least 1 project or sub-project
