Project Management Training
So what is Project Management ?
Project management is the discipline of planning, organising, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives. A project is a temporary endeavor, having a defined beginning and end, undertaken to meet unique goals and objectives, and usually to bring about beneficial change or added value. The primary challenge of project management is to achieve all of the project goals and objectives while honoring the preconceived project constraints. Typical constraints are scope, time, and budget. Projects fail, over run, and can be complex animals, so there will always be need for project management training, be it basic Fundamentals, qualifications such as PRINCE2, or tools such as Microsoft Project.

Why are we experts in Project Management training ?
Pentland are skilled at combining several topics into one effective course. Previous clients have had combined project management courses that cover elements of Project Planning, PRINCE2, and Microsoft Project to suit their exact needs.
The majority of our courses use Case Studies throughout the sessions in order to bring the topic to life. This approach, combined with plenty of practical group and individual work keeps attendees focused and engaged throughout the duration of the training.
All of Pentland's tutors have hands-on experience in a project management environment and are therefore able to pass on hints and tips taken from their years of experience - not something that is covered in a training manual!
