Business Systems Analysis & Design

So what is Business Systems Analysis & Design?

Organisations continue to need to build better Business Systems to be more efficient and to add value.

Object Oriented Analysis and Design and UML are now mainstream, and have been a great addition to the Developer's toolkit. Workshops have been found to be a great way of helping gathering requirements, and the Analyst's facilitation skills need to be sharpened to get the best out of these sessions.

Who is Business Systems Analysis & Design training for ?

A variety of skills are required for the Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, and others involved in the software development lifecycle.

They include the skills of gathering the requirements from the Users, along with the modeling techniques, through to writing your specification.

Why are we experts in Business Systems Analysis & Design training ?

Pentland have been developing and delivering Business systems analysis and design courses since 1987, and have been at the forefront of training the new techniques that have been developed throughout this time.

Our standard 5-day Business Systems Analysis techniques course has always been popular, and it is generally tweaked and tailored to some degree for each client. We recently cut it down to a 3-day session for a company whose 4 attendees already had some of the basic knowledge and also couldn’t spare much time away from their desk It worked out more cost effective than attending any public scheduled course that they had originally trawled the internet for.  Most courses involve an appropriate Case Study that usually runs throughout the whole training event. Pentland uses an interactive workshop approach to the training, with no dry dull lecture sessions!
